He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley L.; his parents, Pete Korobey and Stella Chomicki Korobey; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Cathie Korobey; and his nephew Tim Korobey.
He is survived by: his children, Pete Korobey (Lisa) of St. Louis County, MO, William R. Korobey Jr. (Joyce) of Millstadt, IL, Catherine Barnello (Jeff) of Fairview Heights, IL and Steve Korobey (Dionne) of Lebanon, IL; his grandchildren, Tara, Billy, Kristine, Kyle, Adrian, Gabrielle, Shelby, Sara and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Rayna, Camryn, Kyliegh, Madilyn, Brantley and Khloe; and his sister Carol Willett (Alan Pressey) of Belleville, IL. He is also survived by 3 nephews & 2 nieces; and 13 great nephews & nieces.
Memorial donations are preferred to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
