Stephen W. Cooper Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Stephen W. Cooper in Fairview, Illinois. Stephen, born on October 11, 1947, passed away on August 19, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack B. Cooper and Josephine Mae Cooper (Bond); his sister Sharon Lingle; his nephew Christopher Baker; and his pet Hallie.

He is survived by: his sister Susan Baker (Kenneth) of Dallas, TX; his cousins, Amy Bond of Florida and Christine Bond of Michigan; his friend Elaine Kirchner of Du Quoin; his brother-in-law Don Lingle; his nephew Andrew Lingle (Jeffrey Baker); his nieces, Dawn Oestricher, Lindsay Baker, Stephanie Deatherage and Sarah Martini; and his pet ZuZu.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
