She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Skip Butler; her parents, Jack Shanks and Norma Perrigo; and her sister Jackie Shanks Diedrich. She is survived by: her siblings, Linda Shanks Tate, Denise Shanks Shepherd and Roger Shanks (Tanya) of Springfield, MO.; her stepmother Patricia Shanks; her stepbrother Clarence Wager of Toulon, Illinois.; her brother-in-law Michael Mick Tate; her stepfather George Perrigo; and her stepbrothers, Paul, John, Danny and Jerry Wager.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cold Creek Cemetery (11993 E Coal Church Rd, Fairview, IL 61432).
