She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Smith and Eliza Smith; her brothers, Robert Smith (Bobby) and Ben Smith (Rose); her brothers-in-law, Richard Yund, Ted Marty and John Rose; and her sons-in-law, Clarence Copple and Dannie Donaldson.
She is survived by: her husband Herschel Ambuehl; her children, Dennis (Jamie) of Shelbyville, IL, Janice Hoelscher (Dave) of Mason, IL, Sharon Copple (Denny Simonavice) of Estero, FL and Patty Donaldson of Vandalia, IL; and her sisters, Virginia Yund of Providence, RI and Marianna Rose of Yuba City, CA.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and Spouses; 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farina United Methodist Church (311 E Jackson Ave, Farina, IL 62838). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Farina United Methodist Church.
