He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Stan, Arlene Roberts, Alvin and Ruth Rubin; and his father-in-law Dick Horner.
He is survived by: his father John Roberts; his wife Julie Roberts of Farina; his children, Alexis Sanders (Griffen) of Ramsey, Reagan Roberts (Deytin Parker) of Farina and Rubin Roberts of Farina; his mother Sue Roberts of Farina; his mothers-in-law, Sue Schwarm (Brent) of Vandalia and Brenda Horner of Newton; his sister Julie Farthing (Tony) of Farina; his brothers-in-law, Brent Horner (Michael) of Edwardsville and Brad Horner (Sarah) of Newton; and his nephews, Evan, Bryant Farthing, Cole Horner, Maddox Horner and Maverik Horner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (605 E 3rd St, St Peter, IL 62880). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may go to the Tuition Assistance Fund, St. Peter's Lutheran School, or the donor's choice.
