He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Leroy Quick and Vida Viola Whitt; and his brother-in-law Van Gesell. He is survived by: his wife Julia Quick; his children, Thomas Quick (Toma) and Lisa McElroy (Brad); his grandchildren, Brittney McElroy, Heather McElroy, Torre McElroy and Luciana Quick; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn McElroy-Fopay, Maddalyn McElroy and Gabriel McElroy; and his sister Janet Gesell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital or Salem Animal Control and will be accepted at the service or Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home, PO Box 97, Salem, Illinois 62881.
