It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mary Painter-Boehler of Farmersville, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2024, at the age of 107, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Bergschneider and Floy Minnis Bergschneider; her former life partner Earl Painter; her husband Roy C. Boehler; her daughter Rosalie Hallowell; her son-in-law Jim Hallowell; and her brothers, Elmer Bergschneider, Johnny Bergschneider, Eddie Bergschneider and Leo Bergschneider.
She is survived by : her children, Dottie Colbrook (Mike) of Sherman, Elaine Held (Don) of Farmersville and Ron Painter (Andrea); her grandchildren, Karen Painter, Robert Painter (Jessica), Brad Colbrook (Kathy), Brian Colbrook, Randy Patterson (Tricia), Ryan Patterson (Blair), Craig Held (Samantha), Tim Hallowell and Colleen Donaldson; and her sister Leona Hacker of Girard. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given in Helen's memory to either the Montgomery County Animal Shelter, the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, or to the cemetery of the donors choice.
