We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Michael P. Cruit of Findlay, Illinois, born in Shelbyville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Cruit and Ruth Eileen Cruit (Parr); his spouse Cherise Rose Sack; his children, John (Anna) of Bethany and Emily Zaegel (Steve) of Manchester, MO; his granddaughter Isadora; his sisters, Cheryl Roley (Dan Kubitz) of Dubuque, IA and Kimberly Mueller (Mike) of Benson, AZ; his brother-in-law Mike Brichta; and his cousin Van Cruit. He was also cherished by many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to any Veterans organization of choice or the Findlay United Methodist Church.
