She is survived by: her children, Darryl Connolly (Anissa), Glenn Connolly, Andrea Dow and Owen Reeves (Gina); her grandchildren, Brianna Rossbach (Matt), Cole Griffet (Jessica), Celia Brown, Roberta "Clair" House, Lauren Connolly, Ashley Wikinson, Christina Steingraber (Jake), Ryan Dow (Gwen), Chad Duncan (Jennifer), Kindra Hein (George) and Danielle Franklin (Travis); her great grandchildren, Liam, Ava "Rae" Rossbach, Aiden, Hope Griffet, Alexis, Faith, Cayla Carlisle of Tanner, House, Brayden, Paris Wilkinson, Tyler, Garrett Pender, Jordan Langston, Austin, Brandon Henson, Lillian, Madeline Peters, Declan, Eli Steingraber, Raylin, Nash Duncan, Case, Morgan Hein, Macie Maier and Roman Franklin; her great great grandchildren, River, Lucas Pender, Saige and Beau Langston; and her close friends, Vivian Medlen, Fran Biederman, Bridget, Hank, Margie and Sarah Gamel.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Lux (1551 E Grove Ave, Rantoul, IL 61866). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Joan's name to the Champaign County Humane Society.
