He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Bohlen and Emma Fruhling Bohlen; his wife Bonnie Jo Tucker; and his son David Dean Bohlen. He is survived by: his children, Pam Soloman (John) of Champaign, Tammy Dieken (Brad) of Danforth, Dwight Bohlen (Patti) of Fithian, Paula Hingson (Alan) of Atwood and Rhonda Holliday (Dale) of Petersburg. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (203 Church St, Royal, IL 61871). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Embury Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church handicap parking or an organization of the donor's choice.
