She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Canelle and Josephine Canelle (Palmer); her husband Frank H. Childress; her daughter Sharon Childress Mildenberger; and her sisters, Linda Turnidge, Pat Sowa and Joan Trosper.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank K. Childress (Patty) of Lawrenceville, GA and Chip Childress (Cindy); her son-in-law Jerry Mildenberger of Fithian, IL; and her grandchildren, Clayton Brown (Heather), Arah Huff (Matt), Matthew Childress (Christina), James Mildenberger, Austin Childress (Brooke) and Brianna Harding-Brown (Mason). She is also survived by four step grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
