It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danette Stanley of Flora, Illinois, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Danny Cockerell; and her sister Annette Danmeir. She is survived by : her mother Marilyn Cockerell (Erwin) of Clay City; her husband Alan Stanley of Flora; her children, Christopher Hargrove of Clay City, Teresa Atwood (Jacob Heisner) of Cisne and Tera Conklin (Matt) of Flora; her siblings, Danny Wayne Cockerell of Clay City and Janette Wells of Clay City; her grandchildren, Shelbie, Sydney, Hailey, Alexis, Danica, Dane and Dylan; and her niece Stacie Lewis. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Cancer Crusaders, and will be accepted through the funeral home.
