He is survived by: his wife Vicki Blackwell of Flora; his children, Jeramia Blackwell (Emily) of Flora and Brandi Wolfe (Gene) of Flora; and his grandchildren, Chloe, Kylie Blackwell, Ayden and Greyson Wolfe. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested for a fund that will benefit David's grandchildren, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
