With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna Gambrel of Flora, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald L. Kemmerer and Helen Elizabeth Kemmerer (Brooks); her former husband Curtis Michael "Mike" Venable; and her son Jamen Venable. She is survived by: her husband Ron Gambrel of Flora; her children, Kali Strong (Ryan) of Flora, Ron Gambrel Jr. of Geff and Scott Gambrel (Morena) of Salem; her grandchildren, Lila Strong, John Strong, Cameron Gambrel, Nicholas Gambrel, Kenadi Gambrel, Dakota Gambrel and Shane Spitler; her siblings, Phil Kemmerer (Lavonne) and Janet Barber (Mike); her nephews, Weston Kemmerer (Kimberly) and Austin Kemmerer; her great-nephew Jacob Kemmerer; and her great-niece Allison Kemmerer. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to a scholarship fund to be established in Donna's memory, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
