He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Jerome "Pete" Coleman and Naomi Ruth Coleman; his brothers, Bill Coleman and Don Coleman; and his wife Joan Emling Coleman.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ed and Joan; his children, Jim Coleman (Angie) of Florida, Mark Coleman (Cathy) of Flora and Amy Herdes (Kerry) of Xenia; his grandchildren, Courtney Wyman (Aaron), Ashley Knearem (Blake) of Damien, Coleman, Morgan Coleman, Bryton Herdes (Torrey) and Eliza Herdes; his great grandchildren, Baylee Wilkins, Ava Wyman, Breyden Knearem, Delia Knearem, Mia Herdes and Cohen Herdes; and his great great grandchildren, Willow, Eden, Emery, Ellison, Brantley and Hazel.
Memorial donations may be given to Clay County Cancer Crusaders or to the Flora Academic Foundation, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
