We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2024, at the age of 89, Ed Harrell of Flora, Illinois, born in Wayne, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Burl Howard and Margaret Harrell (Evans); his son Michael Harrell; his siblings, Clifford Harrell, Donald Harrell, Burl Harrell Jr., Darrell Harrell and Barbara McGrew-Young; his great grandchild Tristan Bissey; his parents-in-law, William and Gladys McGrew (Taylor); and his brother-in-law William Martin McGrew.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Harrell of Flora; his children, Cindy Lowe (Paul) of Cisne, Mark Harrell of Fairview Heights and Bill Harrell (Candy) of Harlingen, Texas; his grandchildren, Kristen Harrell, Mitchell Harrell, Jeffery Harrell, Orrin Moore, Jessica Lane (Denny), Christopher Lowe (Sydney), Hannah Hyder (Ronnie), Michael Harrell-Pardue, Ashley Land and Hunter Harrell; his sister JoAnn McCann (Marvin) of Flora; and his siblings-in-law, Donald McGrew, Wilma Scarbrough, Janice Irvin (Eddie), Nancy Hamilton (Raymond) and Betty Harrell. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Flora Coon Club or Flora Church of God, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
