It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Billingsley of Flora, Illinois, born in Mount Erie, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Billingsley and Rosalee Billingsley (Mayo); his wife Molly Billingsley; his son David Billingsley; his grandson Tony Billingsley; and his sister-in-law Hilde Neubold Bruesch.

He is survived by : his son Richard (Cathy); his daughter-in-law Melissa Beert of Flora; his grandchildren, Jonathon Billingsley (Jesteen) of Flora, Tristan Billingsley of St Louis, MO and Chynna Billingsley LoRusso (Josiah) of Kirkwood, MO; his sisters-in-law, Trudy Newbold of Flora and Karin Neubold Boerner of Ludwigsburg Germany; and his nephew Rudiger Bruesch of Muelacker, Germany.. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Clay County Hospice, Flora VFW Post 3999 or Flora American Legion Post 14, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
