He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Venable and Eunice Venable (Higgason); his brothers, Curtis Venable and Norman Venable; and his close friend Mike Fry (Myrna).
He is survived by: his wife Anne Venable of Flora; his children, Angela Gordon (Brad) of Lawrenceburg, Chip Venable (Tammy) of Flora, Mandy Booth of Flora and Aaron Venable (Dena) of Flora; his grandchildren, Shallon Booth of Flora, Cassie Devore (Adam) of Flora, Anna Proffitt (Matt) of Taylorsville, Lowell Gordon of Lawrenceburg, Haley Blanchard (Justin) of Flora, Logan Venable of Flora, Addison Venable of Flora and Mandy Meyers (Kevin) of Lake St; his great grandchildren, Irene Shabani of Flora, Sophie Shabani of Flora, Jacob Devore of Flora, Cade Proffitt of Taylorsville, Carter Proffitt of Taylorsville, Sophia Meyers of Lake St and Andrew Meyers of Lake St; his sister Rita Keys of Johnson City, Tennessee; and his close friend Herb King (Kay) of Carlyle.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses (please make checks payable to Anne Venable), Residential Hospice, or First Christian Church in Flora, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
