It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Allison of Flora, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, David Allison and Fern Allison (Tackitt); his son Wayne Allison; his great grandchild Clayton Stanford; his brother LaVerne Strange; his stepmother Maxine Allison (Caudle); and his brothers-in-law, Sam Byers and Randy Byers.

He is survived by : his wife Phyllis Allison of Flora; his son Tony N. Allison of Flora; his daughters-in-law, Shelly Billington (Scott) of Rinard and Candy Cunningham (Cary) of Flora; his grandchildren, Jodi Cox of Olney, Brandon Allison of Flora, Tara Stanford of Flora, Cody Allison of Sumner, Jeremiah Allison of Xenia and Zach Allison of Rinard; his great grandchildren, Ian, Lillian, Carter, Emma, Kyrah, Kenedee, Bradon, Savannah, Cailyn, Braxton and Camden; his sisters, Regina Bricker (Robert) of Xenia and Connie Hilderbrand (Gary) of Olney; and his siblings-in-law, Delane Byers of Mattoon, Cleone Byers (Dolly) of Mt. Zion, Bob Byers (Brenda) of Mason, Nancy Byers of Louisville, Sandy Byers of Flora and Dee Strange of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
