He was predeceased by: his parents, James Trefny and Carol Trefny; and his brother-in-law Anthony M. Scilingo. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Trefny, Bonnie Scilingo, James Trefny (Jobea) and Tammy Trefny (Dawn Viti); his nieces and nephews, Anthony Scilingo, Jaime Mazur (Eddie), Rebecca Child (Bill), Heather Fiorito (Matt), Andrew Trefny (Morgan), Andrey Trefny, Nadya Trefny and Riley Trefny; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nora, James, Mila, Olivia, Thomas, Marie and Everett.
