With sadness, we share the passing of Louguster Atkins (Forest Park, Illinois). Louguster, born on March 28, 1936 in Eutaw, Alabama, passed away on September 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Davis and Louvenia Davis; her siblings, Edith Davis Neal, Booker T. Davis, Alex Davis, Honor Davis, Isaiah Davis, Jr., Beulah Richardson, Louvenia Colvin, Tee Esther Harkness, Walsh Davis, Chettie Lee Davis and Asa Davis; and her husband Earnest Atkins, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Earnest Atkins, Jr. (Gwen), Kennie Atkins (Rosie), Annette Atkins-Murry (Glen) and Angela Atkins; and her cousin Shiloah (family: Flournoy, Albany). She is also survived by her four children: eleven grandchildren: a host of great and great-great-grandchildren: plenty of nieces, nephews.

A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Forest Home Cemetery (863 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, IL 60130).
