She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonia Schwerin (Starek) and Carl Schwerin; her husband Gerald; and her siblings, Martha Schneeweiss (George), Carl Schwerin (Alice) and Loretta Smok (Joseph).

She is survived by : her children, Karla Kuipers (Duane), Lisa Stella (Ralph) and Dean Hamlin (Stella); and her grandchildren, Brian, Kevin (Katie), Stephanie, Zachary Kuipers, Rachel, Frank and Paul Stella.
