She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Steidinger and Elma Steidinger (Stein); her husband Melvin Beal; and her son-in-law Randy. She is survived by: her children, Mark Beal (Paula) of Forrest, Todd Beal (Sandy) of Forrest, Lisa Lowery of Chatsworth and Keith Beal (Denise) of Forrest; and her siblings, Kenneth Steidinger, Lila Bartlett and Ronald "Bump" Steidinger (Donna). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chatsworth United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy's name to the Forrest Fire Department or Southeast Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS).
