She is survived by: her parents, Teresa Rathbun Palen of Forrest, IL and Joseph Palen (Cindy) of Forrest, IL; her sisters, Megan Mathes (Matt) of Forrest, IL and Molly Palen (Charlie Tjarks) of Chatsworth, IL; her nephews, Dustin Mathes (Pam Leesman) and Gage Tjarks (Stephanie Budd); her great-niece Willow Mathes; her grandmother Lorraine Palen; her aunts and uncles, Ed (Cheryl Palen), Marie (Bob King), Terry (Penny Rathbun), Betty Dray, Tom (Rita Rathbun), Leona (Mark Pacheco), Mark Rathbun, Jamie Rieger and Judy Somers; and her pets, Bill, Lily, Laredo, Shiloh, Kevin Bacon, Cheeseburger, Snowy and Lilith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the Livingston County Humane Society, Community Connection of Chatsworth, or the Forrest Historical Society.
