It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. Henson of Forrest, Illinois, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Robert leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Henson and Flossie Fox Henson; his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Ralph Henson, Patricia Cox and Lola Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Henson of Forrest.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or to Tunnels to Towers.
