He was predeceased by: his parents, Minert Pannkuk and Sadie Pannkuk (Ruter); and his wife Katy. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Pannkuk (Stephanie), Craig Pannkuk (Laura Groom) and Annette Schryvers (Craig); his sister Joyce McPhillips; his grandchildren, Drake, Ian Pannkuk, Carley Reisen, Ben Schwarz (Dana), Cameron Groom (Katie), Drew Groom (Jillian), Evan Groom, Eryn Schryvers, Tori Schyvers, Sean Schyvers and Nick Schyvers; his great grandchildren, Jasper and Johnny Schwarz; and his brother Ronnie Pannkuk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in Eugene's memory.
