With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Hoback of Forsyth, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Elgon and Mona Catherine Highland (Arnold); her daughter Teresa Doty (Lynn); her sister Connie Malone; and her siblings-in-law, Leo Hoback, Russell Hoback and Edith Crum.
She is survived by: her husband Merle Hoback; her son Stan Hoback of Palm Bay, FL; her grandson Matthew Hoback (Justin) of Maroa, IL; and her siblings-in-law, David Hoback (Georgia Anne Hoggatt), Jack Hoback (Christine), Allen Hoback, Gerry, Mary, Evelyn, Alice and Dorothy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Shelbyville Area Community Foundation.
