Walter F. Lamb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter F. Lamb of Forsyth, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter F. Lamb, Sr. and Pearl Lamb (Rife); his wife Gladys Irene Pruitt; his grandson Erik Lamb; his siblings, Jack Lamb and Nancy Jolly; and his son-in-law Jim.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Douglas "Doug" Lamb (Penny) of Decatur, IL and Vickie; his sister Lora Robertson (Don) of Danville, IL; his grandchildren, Matthew Lamb, Mandy Lamb, Cody and Nick; and his great grandchildren, Tristan Lamb, Hunter Lamb, Isaac Pundt and Emma.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvert & Wikoff North Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society.
