It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William A. Mahler of Forsyth, Illinois, born in Maywood, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Mahler and Alice Mahler (Esch); and his sisters, Alice Ashley (Don) and Anne Williamson (Tom). He is survived by : his wife Lucille Sansone; and his sister Barbara Vogel (Jim) of New York. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and –nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Decatur.
