With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ann Smith of Fox Lake, Illinois, born in Marinette, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Schoener and Lucille Schoener; and her parents-in-law, Robert Sr. and Shirley J. Smith. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Smith, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Kevin Smith (Teri) and Michelle Mathia. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; a great niece and great nephew; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamsher Lakeside Funerals & Cremations (12 N Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL 60020). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
