Leah A. Herkel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leah A. Herkel of Fox Lake, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Leah's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Leah has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Baileys and Mildred Baileys (Uhlmann); and her significant other Daniel Lacko. She is survived by: her sister Deborah; and her brother-in-law Keith Ewert.
