He was predeceased by: his mother Arlene Jakstas; his sister Karen (Jakstas); and his grandparents, Peter, Emily Jakstas, Robert and Grace Ansani.
He is survived by: his father Peter F. Jakstas Sr.; his sisters, Laura Soucy (Matt) and Erica Jakstas; and his girlfriend Beth Wadzinski. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family members; and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ringa Funeral Home (122 S Milwaukee Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
