It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas E. Degen of Fox Lake, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Thomas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Thomas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Degen and Irene Degen; and his son Thomas Degen Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Degen and Amanda Johnson (Adam); his grandson Henry; and his siblings, Tricia Kapsalis (Dion), Jeffrey Degen, Nancy Flannigan and Sheila Degen.
