He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sims and Nora Sims (Hooker); and his brothers, Warren Sims and Gerald Sims. He is survived by: his wife Frances Sims (Berschinski); his sons, Mark Sims (Barbara) and Jeffrey Sims (Laurie); his sister Muriel Long; his grandchildren, Jeremy Sims, Jacqueline Fiske (Jason), Erica Sims and Heather Lei (John); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Fiske, Parker Fiske, Harper Lei and Oliver Lei.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice in Allan's name would be greatly appreciated.
