He is survived by: his wife Lorna Szachnit (Reily); his daughters, Sara Irvine (Tim) and Julie O'Neill (Michael); his sibling Shirley Szachnit; and his grandsons, Branden O'Neill (Ashley), Austin Irvine and Jackson Irvine.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (7659 W Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423). A Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
