He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Farrell and Rita Farrell; and his nephew Daniel M. Farrell. He is survived by : his close friend Eileen Lenihan; his daughter Jennifer Bucci (Gino); his granddaughter Gia Bucci; his siblings, Mary Ellen Reitz (George), Sharon Bolhuis (late Kenneth) and Daniel Farrell (Mary); and his cousin Jackie Farrell. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, his extended family.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (235 W North St, Manhattan, IL 60442).

“I’m so sorry Frank was my best friend growing up I lived at 4912 Spring Road We were together everyday in grade school . We even double dated on my first date with my wife . Had a lot of fun playing cowboys and Indians Combat and all kinds of sports at the little and big park Rest in peace my friend .”
