He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Barr and Marie Barr; his son John Barr; his daughter-in-law Veneta Leonard; and his brothers, Raymond Barr and John Barr.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Barr; his children, Jayme Spitzer (Randy), Lisa Huguelet (Gerard), JoAnn Conover (David) and Jeremy Leonard; and his sister Anita Wies. He is also survived by great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Mokena (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
