He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Anderer and Aileen Anderer; his son-in-law Rich Schneider; his brother Mark Anderer; his sister-in-law Judy Anderer; and his close friend Ed Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Anderer; his children, Amy Schneider, John Anderer Jr., Katie Querio (Mike) and Mark Anderer (Vanessa Nomura); his grandchildren, John Anderer III, Mason Querio, Brittany Madonna (Greg), Sloane Anderer and Maeve Anderer; his great grandchildren, Logan Madonna and Shane Madonna; and his siblings, Joseph Anderer (Julane), Michael Anderer, Mary Bryan (Jim), Thomas Anderer, Jeanmarie Donahue (Donald), Kathy Morrison (John) and Patti Dubel (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
