He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Kathryn Marshall (Joseph "Tuck" Marshall); children: Craig Marshall and Nicole Conroy (Richard); daughter-in-law: Kim Starcevich; son: William Bluedog; grandchildren: Hailie Marshall, Cassidi Marshall, Stephan Marshall, Griffin Conroy, and Addisyn Conroy; brother-in-law/sisters-in-law: Thomas Worthy, Arlene Stephan, and Mary Jean Alderman; parents: Joseph H. Marshall and Wanda Marshall; parents-in-law: Bernard Stephan and Mary Catherine Stephan; sister/brother-in-law: JoWan Mothershead (Melvin); brother: Peter Marshall; brothers-in-law/sisters-in-law: Barbara Labardini (Mario), George Alderman, Patricia Worthy, and Bernard C. Stephan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forsythe Gould Funeral Home (507 S State St, Manhattan, IL 60442). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (235 W North St, Manhattan, IL 60442).
