He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sr. Tardy and Jane Tardy; and his brothers, Michael Tardy (Michele) and Stephen Tardy. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Tardy; his children, Christine Tardy (Tony Siriscevich), Matthew Tardy (Mary), Jeffrey Tardy (Barbie) and Julianne Sadzak (Michael); his grandchildren, Sean Tardy, Ava Tardy, Jacob Tardy, Joseph Sadzak, Jonathan Sadzak and James Sadzak; and his sister Marguerite Zimmermann (late Frank).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (241 W 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL 60451). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
