She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Genovese; and her siblings, Dorothy Hardy, Lois Sheehan and Donald Klein. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Herbert (Ray), Catherine Pakosz, Christine Sorci (Michael), Joanne Rebek (Edward), Mary Beth Marganski (Christopher) and Karen Kenny (Patrick). She is also survived by grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
