She was predeceased by: her parents, Kin Pemaj and Lula Pemaj; and her sibling Vitore Gjekaj (late Laser). She is survived by: her spouse Lash; her children, Violeta Hoxha (Arben), Veronika Simo (Pirro), Rita Gjergji and Adrian Gjergji (Alkeda); her grandchildren, Gersi Hoxha (Erin), Besjana Hoxha, Christian Hoxha, Simone Simo and Alessio Simo; and her siblings, Hila Pemaj (late Vitore), Taze Lukaj (late Gac) and Shtjefen Pemaj (late Lula).
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Richard J Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (16201 104th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60467).
