She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Stilts (Gene); and her siblings, Gene Stilts Jr., Steve Stilts, Eve Stilts and Jim Stilts.

She is survived by: her husband Tom Shapiro; her children, Kevin Peterson, Keri English, Tianna Shapiro and John Shapiro (Julie); her siblings, Paul Moore (Barb), Marlene Shirley and Joseph Sarek (Brittany); and her grandchildren, Katie Shapiro, Connor Shapiro, Trey Peterson, Alison English and Eve English.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or St. Peter's United Church of Christ would be greatly appreciated.
