He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Buttle (Carmichael); his wife Patricia Buttle (Tanner); and his son Bruce Buttle. He is survived by: his children, Dale Buttle and Roger Buttle; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Buttle; his stepchildren, Pauline Modjeski (Jeff), Bill Grace (Teresa), Russell Grace (Martha) and Jennifer Mazurek (Greg); his sister Rose Blair; and his grandchildren, Nick, Kyle, Madeline, Olivia, Sophia, Molly, Lauren, Brittany, Brett and Andrew. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423).
