He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Haaksma; his grandchildren, John, Anderson, Kaden, Cameron, Kallista, Justine, Logan, Maeve, Michael, Mark and Marie; his siblings, John Haaksma (Linda) and Doreen Haaksma (Karen); his niece Kimberly; his nephew Justin; David Haaksma (Annalisa), Joellyn Knapp (Kevin), Danielle Kinkelaar (Tyler), Ryan Haaksma (Layne) and Eric Haaksma (Chase Aubin).
