He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Dawn McAvoy, Michelle McAvoy, Shawn McAvoy (Sheryl), Scott McAvoy (Kim Bottema) and Tracey McAvoy; his sibling Pat McAvoy (Linda); his grandchildren, Jeremiah Lewellen (Danita Yancey), Christopher Lewellen (Danielle Kovacic), Matthew Lewellen (Cassandra Dahman), Jessica Medo (Ken), Katie McAvoy, Caroline McAvoy, Thomas McAvoy, Gillan McAvoy, Hannah McAvoy and Nathan McAvoy; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Zackary, Owen, Finn, Eli and Ollie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
