She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Vela and Marie Vela (Gonzalez). She is survived by: her former husband Robert Ferguson Jr.; and her children, Bob Ferguson and Katherine Ferguson. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
