With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vilas Meier (Franklin Grove, Illinois), who passed away on November 17, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter H. Auer and Evelyn M. Auer (Dahlmeier); her husband Robert R. Meier; and her brothers, Wallace and Russel Auer.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carolyn Meier of Sandwich, IL, Marilyn Overby (Richard) of Rochelle, IL and Jean Morris of Rockford, IL; and her grandchildren, Jason, Kayla Morris, Elizabeth (Chad Sarver) and Kathleen Peterson (Steven). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin Grove, IL.
