He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Frederick Nordie and Tina Cavanaugh (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Crystal Zelinske, Aaron, Adam and Dylan Gruber; his great grandchildren, Jordan Zelinske and Angelo Martinez; his siblings, Diane Sroga, Jeanene Fortin, Susan Nordie, Bonnie Kaaina, Scott Nordie (Esperanza), Allison Nordie Wagner and Denise Marsala (Paul); his aunt Jacqueline Gorka Nordie; and his parents, June Nordie and Fred Nordie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Edens Memorial Cemetery (9851 W Irving Park Rd, Schiller Park, IL 60176).
