He was predeceased by: his former wife Diane; and his children, Robert, Donald, David and Jacqueline.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Gregg; his siblings, James (Patti) and Jean (Roger Hansen); his sons, Glen, John Jr., Gary (Marnie) and Marc (Trudy Allen); his stepchildren, Beth, Chris and Ellen Sheahan; and his grandchildren, Cara Melbou, Brian Gregg and Joshua Gregg.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sax Tiedemann Funeral Home (9568 W Belmont Ave, Franklin Park, IL 60131). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Arlington Cemetery (401 E Lake St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
